Tottenham vs Newcastle

Although Tottenham won only 1-0 against West Ham last week
their performance was absolutely satisfactory and strengthened
their bid to reach the 7th place in the Premiership which would
mean European football at White Hart Lane next season.
To that end they will also have to win against struggling Newcastle
where Alan Shearer could make only little impression so far.
Ok, half an hour of good football at the end of the match at Stoke,
but nothing more? Normally the new manager syndrome only
applies in the very first matches ...
Tottenham are in great form especially at home and if they take
this match seriously (like last week that's our only little doubt)
they will win. Best odds are 1.70 at Paddy Power.
